THE NOLI SHOP's

FABRIC AND CARE GUIDE

Our garments are designed to be loved for seasons to come. Each piece is made from thoughtfully selected fabrics that bring beauty, comfort, and character to your wardrobe.

Most of our garments can be safely washed, but we always recommend referencing individual care labels first. Certain details such as lining, embellishments, dyes and prints may require special care. To preserve their quality and charm, follow our fabric-specific care tips below.

To keep your denim looking its best, always turn the garment inside out before washing. Wash in

a cold, gentle cycle to preserve the fabric and prevent fading. Avoid bleach, which can damage the color and fibers. After washing, hang dry your denim to maintain its shape and ensure long-lasting wear.

For satin pieces, always turn the garment inside out before cleaning to protect the delicate surface.

Hand wash gently or opt for dry cleaning, and be sure to wash only with like colors. Never twist or wring the fabric, as this can damage the fibers and finish. Avoid bleach, and hang dry to preserve the smooth, luxurious texture.

STYLE TIP: When ironing satin, place a piece of plain white silk or thin cotton fabric between the iron and the satin to act as a press cloth. This prevents shine marks, scorching, or water spots while still allowing you to smooth out wrinkles gently on a low heat setting.

To care for sequin garments, gently turn the piece inside out before washing to protect the embellishments. Hand wash with care or take it to the dry cleaners for the safest option. Always wash with like colors and avoid twisting or wringing the fabric, as this can damage both the sequins and the base material. Do not use bleach, and hang dry to maintain the garment's sparkle and structure.

For cotton garments, turn them inside out before washing to help preserve color and texture. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors to prevent fading and color transfer. Avoid using bleach, and hang dry to maintain the fabric's shape and softness. If needed, use a cool iron to smooth out any wrinkles.

STYLE TIP: Avoid over-drying cotton in the dryer. Instead, remove it while still slightly damp and let it air dry the rest of the way. This minimizes fiber brittleness and helps preserve the garment's shape and softness over time, especially for pieces with structure or stretch.

Lace requires delicate care to maintain their intricate beauty. Always turn the piece inside out and hand wash gently with like colors to prevent snags or stretching. Avoid twisting, wringing, or using bleach, as these can damage the delicate fibers.

Hang dry to preserve the lace's shape, and if needed, use a cool iron to gently smooth any wrinkles.

To keep your linen garments looking fresh and refined, turn them inside out before washing. Use a cold, gentle machine cycle to protect the natural fibers and texture. Avoid bleach, as it can weaken the fabric and alter its color. Hang dry to prevent shrinkage, and use a cool iron if needed to maintain a crisp, polished finish.

STYLE TIP: Use a mesh laundry bag when machine washing linen, especially for lightweight or embellished pieces. This helps preserve the weave and prevents premature wear or fraying around seams and edges.
